3104 MILES IN 25 HOURS. (U.P. A. by Elec. T«J._ Copyright.) ROME. July 17. Fhin-r a seaplane from Monfaleone to Berbera, a. distance cf 3104 miles, in 25 hours non-stop. Captain Stoppani regained the world’s long-di-tance record from the Croix du Sud. The four-engined flying-boat Croix du Sud (Southern Cross) last month flew to Ziginshor, Senegal, from Cherbourg, alter a flight oi 2012 miles, thus securing the world s distance record for a flying-boat.
