LEADERS SENTENCED TO DEATH

A court-martial sentenced to death General Papoulns, a former commander of the Greek forces in Asia Minor, and. General Jvimilis, for participation in the revolt. General Papoulns is president or the Republican League, and General Ivimisis is also a member.
LONDON, April 22. (Received April 23, 5.5 p.m.)
The Times’s Athens correspondent says that General Anagnostopoulos, Colonel Vlachos, two majors and four captains, all of whom escaped to Turkey after the rebellion, were sentenced .to death in their absence bv a court-martial at Salonika.
