HAWKE’S BAY MEETING. GTSBORNE SUCCESSES. THREE CUPS TO A. FOE DR Several Gisborne competitors participate in the Hawke’s Bay Rifle Association’s championship meeting at Easter and A. Forde annexed the A. A. George Challenge Cup. the Campbell Cup aud the McLeod and Rivers Cup. In the Service Match (10 shots rapid at 300 yards) Fordo was sixth, winning 10s, while R. Bull was 10th, taking ss. Tho Napier match (10 shots at 500 yards) saw Forde finish fourth with 48 (two below the possible), winning £l, while Bull was counted out. In tho Hastings match (same conditions) Forde again scored 48 and finished in sixth place to win 15s. Fordo won 10s in the Gisborne match and finished fourth ip the championship match with 186 against the winner’s 191. Bull had an aggregate of 178 and shared in the prize money. Fordo was fourth in -one optional aggregate with 96, two below the winning score, while he was seventh in the other aggregate with 03 against the winder’s 99-
