KING'S JUBILEE
THREE N.Z. COMMEMORATIVE STAMPS On Tuesday, May 7, throe special commemorative stamps of the King’s Silver Jubilee will be issued by the Post Office, temporarily replacing the pictorial issues of a halfpenny (fantail), penny (kiwi) and sixpenny (harvesting scene.) The border of the silver jubilee commemorative :stamp was desigod by Mr J. Berry, of Wellington, ns a frame for particularly clear full-face portraits olf their Majesties the King and Queen admirably engraved from recent photographs. These special stamps are to be made available from May 7, until the available supply, which: had to he printed m England, has been exhausted.
