POVERTY BAY CLUP> EASTER TOURNEY Pl/Xns qualifying ROUND DRAW The annual Easter Handicap tournament conducted by the Poverty Bav Golf Club opens to-morrow and very good entries, totalling 39, have been received. Further entries will he accepted up to neon to-day. Beginning at 9-45 a.m to-morrow, the first qualifying round will be played over 18 and the second 18 Wes in the afternoon. A medal match will be conducted in connection with each, of the rounds, and also for the best score over 36 coles. The 16 plavers with the best aggregate -scores qualify for the Easter Handicap Cup (won two A ear* ago by Air R. Alaude) and the second 16 for the Tournament Cup. Alatch play for these two events will take place on Saturday and Alonday, while other matches will be decided in conjunction with the major fixtures.
