An inquiry regarding the running of the Ruatangata Handicap at Whangarei on Saturday was concluded by the judicial committee of the Whangarei Racing Club last evening. The race was won by Royal Potoa, with Oreficld second and Gay Cockade third. The result of the inquiry was that O. Mclnally Was disqualified under rule 295 for six months for hus riding of Gay Cockade, and J. H. Mcßae, rider of Royal Potoa, was suspended for one month under rule 302. —P.A
