ALLEGED NEGLIGENT MOTOR ING CAUSING DEATH. REV. J. J. NORTH COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (Picks Association). AUCKLAND., April To. The Rev. D,r. John James North appeared on summons at tire Police Court before Mr. F. %. Hunt, S.M., oil a charge of negligently driving a motor car -in New North Road on February 24, thereby causing the death of Frederick Cossey. The proceedings occupied three hours. . • -Senior-Detective Flail conducted the prosecution, and accused was represented by Mr. Sellar. .Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £IOO was allowed with one surety for, a similar -amount.
