SYDNEY'S GREAT EASTER ATTRACTION FINEST EXHIBITION OF CATTLE EVER. SEEN (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright..) (Received April 10, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 15. The Royal Easter Show opened to-day in cool Weather; There were record entries, and it is anticipated, provided the weather is satisfactory that this year’s show will eclipse previous displays. The cattle judged to-day were highly praised by experts. Mr Anthony Hordern, a notable cattle breeder, said it was the finest show of cattle Sydney had ever had. There was no “tail” to the quality. Colonel Somerville, secretary of the Royal Agricultural Society, said that in quality and in numbers all cattle records had been broken this year.
