BURTON OUP TOURNEY. GISBORNE EASTER ATTR ACTION FORTY RINKS ENTERED. DETAILED DRAW. Forty rinks have been entered for the Burton Cup tournament to bo conducted locally at Easter. All clubs in the district are represented and there are also four teams from the Bay of Plenty. Play is scheduled to open at 8.45 a.m. on Friday next and section play will extend over three days. The post-section games and the final are to be played at the Kahutia Club green on Tuesday next. On the Saturday evening a bowlers’ social evening is to be held in the Kahutia pavilion. The umpires for the tournament are as follows: A Section, Mr. O. G. Thornton; B section, Mr W. Tier; C Section, Mr H. Ritchie; D section, Mr. W. Neal.
