SWIMMING
TE PUJA EASTER CARNIVAL Considerable interest is being taken in the forthcoming visit to To Puia on Easter Saturday, of Hie three champion Rotorua Maori swimmers, Whareaitu, Simon and Yates. Numerous enquiries have been received from parties al] the way up the Coast 1° as Lir as le Araroa as to the time the carnival twill begin and numerous other things. FuK particulars will be advertised later in the Times. Entries are coming to hand steadily, and by closing time this evening it isi expected that the entries, will be fully up to expectation. As the transport arrangements of Gisborne competitors depend on the those who intend entering are requested to do so as early as possible, thereby assisting in finalising arrangements.
