At the quarter sessions today, Edgar Hartley McCall, 36 was sentenced to 23 months’ imprisonment for tho theft of £IBOO the property of his employers, Sandlord’s Ltd.\ hsb merchants, of Auckland. AlcCall attributed his downfall to betting with spielers and two-up.
