A strong finish to an unsatisfactory season was made at the hith am final wool sale at Wellington to-day. Many''buyers appeared to have clastic limits' and at times there wasa perfect drumfire of bidding. >« offering was small, being 9000 bale., compared with 16,000-for the corresponding sale last year. The bulk of the catalogues comprised iaigely op making crossbreds. There was a fully rcspresentative bench of : buyers. Irench ititeies were the main driving force/ Bradford operated extensively. Prices generally' were at the highest point- ol the 1934-35 season. Compared with March the sa e a Wellington the prices showed the following advances: Extra fine crossbreds, Id. to lid.
