A colorful naval pageantry signalised the arrival in Wellington to-day of Lord and Lady Galway. The norther! gate on Wednesday night had given way to a. fitful breeze and the Vice-Regal entry was made in bright sunshine. The Rangitata was unable to arrive an time to enable the original programmes of welcome to be carried out to-day. Nevertheless, she arrived in ample time for an impressive entry into port, escorted by H.M.S. Diomede and H.M.S. Leith, which metthe liner near Sinclair Head about 3 o'clock.
