The annual general meeting of the P.B. A. and P. Association will be held in the secretary’s office, Childers Road, Gisborne, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 193-5. Air F. R. Ball, chairman of the Power Board, will address a public meeting at the City Hall next Tuesday, April 16, at 8 p.m., when he will explain the board's policy and revieAV the past operations and the pre cent position of this undertaking, which is now playing -such an important part in the economic and domestic life of the community.

There are now eleven schools in the area formerly served by the school in 1864. Tim ‘official’ Ruby Jubilee gathering will take place on Saturday; the Thanksgiving Service on the next day (Sunday)—both at the Upper Hutt State School; and ‘Children’s Dav” ivill bp celebrated at Maidstone Park on Monday.
