An anti-cyclone now extends across the North Tasman. —Forecast— Winds: Moderate to strong westerly to south-westerly, reaching gale force at times along the East Conet, decreasing to-morrow. Seas: Moderate north of East Gape, elsewhere rather rough to rough. Eastern Tasman: Moderate to fresh but decreasing 'south-west winds; seas rough, but gradually moderating. With scattered showers in moot districts; improving to-morrow.
