NEWS OF MISSING YACHT. AT ANCHORAGE IN FIJIAN ISLE ON MONDAY. ALL ON BOARD APPEARED WELL (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel, Copyright. 7 (Received April 10, 9.40 p.m.) SUVA, April 10. The auxiliary cuttery Tui Vunilagi arrived at Suva this afternoon. Captain Smith reports that his cutler was lying at anchor at Moala Island, 11.0 miles cast-south-east of Suva, on Monday when ho saw a ! schooner approaching tho entrance under sail. As the anchorage was bad, with coral patches, and Captain Smith did not wish to foul his own. anchors, lio proceeded to the entrance in a dinghy and piloted the schooner to anchorage. Captain Smith said he had not boarded the schooner, and there was no conversation beyond thanks for the pilotage. He observed the name “La Ivorrigane” on tho stern of two boats in the davits. Captain Smith left for Suva next morning, passing close to the schooner, on which all appeared well. Ho observed a bunch of bananas in the rigging, so presumed the schooner had visited other islands in the I iji group, or perhaps Tonga. Ho understood that the schooner was bound for Suva. Perhaps more news will be gathered from a local trading vessel which is duo at Suva at an earlv date. The Korrignne broke the quarantine laws in visiting Moala before entering the port of entry.
