A delightful ‘kitchen tea’ was given by Aliss AI. Foster at her home in Whittaker street, on Afonday afternoon., in honor of Alias Florence Packo, whose marriage to Air Peter de Lauiour takes place on Easier Monday. Bridge tables were arranged iri the drawingroom, which "was charmingly decorated with dahlias in delicate pastel shades, the tea tables in the diningroom being artistically adorned with helianthus alluringly com bined with delphiniumns. Later in tho afternoon the numerous parcels, containing all manner of useful kitchen utensils, were open ed by the bride-to-be, who acknowledged the gifts very prettily.
