TOLL OF TORNADOES

According to the Associated Press, at least" 34 wore killed and 100 injured as the result of tornadoes which swept parts of Louisiana, Aliseissippi, Texas, Alabama and Florida during the past twenty-four hours. The greatest number of casualties was at AlcComb, Alissussippi, vheie twenty-one bodies were recovered from the wreckage of razed homes. Floods accompanying tho high winds caused many deaths. Property and crop damage are reported to amount to thousands of dollars.
