RUGBY
PROBLEM OF TOURS. (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Rec. Dec. 29, 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 29. The kick-into-toucn rule was discussed by the N.S-W. Rugby Union management committee with Mr. ,S S. Dean (N-Z.), but no decision was reached. Mr. Dean will report the N.S.W. attitude to the New Zealand Union, and, until word is received from New Zealand. N.S.W. will not know where it stands, with its proposed concerted appeal to the- Home unions for a dispensation. N.S.W. has not received any . response from South Africa. It is understood that an All Black team will arrive about July 21, and! leave in the middle of August. New Zealand’s English visit a;nd the Springboks’ Australian visit have made it difficult to arrange an Aus-tralian-New Zealand tour, but an Australian team may visit the Dominion late in 1935.
