The Commonwealth and Domini l ')! Line motor ship Port Alum, arrived from Napier at 8 a.m. yesterday to load for London and West of England ports. Owing to the heavy sea running in the roadstead it was found impossible to work- idle, vessel and slm was dispatched at 11. a.in. for Auckland. The .Port Alma is expected early next week to load the Gisborne consignments. The Kinma'will proceed shortly to Newcastle and Port Keilibla to load tor Auckland, Gisborne and Wolling-
