SIAMESE TROOPS CAPTURE REBEL HEADQUARTERS ASSISTANCE BY GUNBOATS (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Oct-. 19, 7 p.m.) SINGAPORE, Oct. 19. The Siamese revolt is broken. Government troops recaptured the rebel headquarters at Donmuang aerodrome, where many where killed or wounded, and also occupied Ayudhya and Petehaburi. Gunboats supported the troops, thus giving the lie to a report- that the 'navy had gone over to the rebels. The insurgent leader, Prince Bovaradej, who was a former Minister in London, is reported to have tied ” in an aeroplane.
