SHOTS FIRED AT DANCE HALL. FIVE INJURED. (U.P.A by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Rec. Oct. 17 11.38 p.m.) DUBLIN, Oct. 17. A sensational attack was made orf a dance hall at Ballingar (County Galway), while 100 persons, belonging to the United Ireland Party were dancing. Shots penetrated .the windows and five fell wounded. The attack lasted fo, r half an hour. Tho police searched the district without result. Other disquieting incidents were that three armed men barricaded the road to Mallow with trees, stopping a van carrying the Cork Examiner, newspaper. They forced the driver to depart, burnt the newspapers, and riddled the tyres and petrol tank with bullets.. . _
