The attractive songs and music which will be heard in “The Private Life of Henry VIII.” wer.e actually written by Henry VIII himself. One of tiie songs will be sung by Katheryn Howard (Binriie Barnes), who before isho was Queen is shown as a maid-of-honour at Hampton Court. When the King calls for a singer, she volunteers, and, in order to gain his favour, chooses a song, the words and music of which were written by the King himself. This dsong is cabled “What Shall I do, for Love,” a title which very well fit a present-day dance number. Harps, lutes and lyres provide the instrumental accompaniment. Charles Laughton plays the role of Henry VIII, The British picture is to be released by United Ai'tiiSts.
