THREE STUDENTS ORDAINED

FINANCES FOR THE YEAR. (Press Association). AUCKLAND, Oct. 17. At the assembly of the Baptist Union, Messrs T. It- Page, J. K. Roid» and F. L. Smart, students of the Baptist College, were ordained to the Ministry. Mr. Pago was appointed t° the S'outh Dunedin Church, and Mr. Smart t- 0 tho Mosgicl Church. The Baptist Jubilee Fund wa s reported to amount to £2823. The estimated income of the union is £1675. and grants in aid to various churches £1753. The total membership is 8643, an. increase of 431, the largest vet reported. The Missionary Society’s income was £6260 and the expenditure £O-150, a deficit, due to the high rate of exchange of £B2l. The Baptist Women’s Missionary Union raised £1337.
