MORE INQUIRY ON CONTINENT
(U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright)
LONDON, Oct. 15
Tlie Australian Wool Council’s toPresentative, Mr. W. P. Dc-vereux, reports that Bradford prices of merino tops have moved against buyers. Some business has been transacted, and the output maintained. There is some business in medium and fine crossbred tops, with slightly higher prices. Crossbred s'arns are S r m a t last week's level.
There is a rather better tone, and more inquiry, but little nev business on most Continental markets, whic-n are somewhat disturbed by the political and currency complications. Sales of tops to Germany lately have been only moderate. The Continental futures markets are more active, and the recent decline in quotations has been recovered.
