Oct. 13, 9.55 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 13. The Daily Herald say s that “Ulm the Unlucky” is out to smash Sir C. Kingsford Smith’s record and proposes to reach Australia in four hoPs with a machine capable of 3500 miles per hop. Ho hopes to reach Australia in four days. He will do much night flying. ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA COMPLETE SERVICE EXPECTED IN YEAR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 1* Sir Samuel Instone, director of Imperial Airways, announced that it is hoped to operate a complete England to Australia air mail within 10 or 12 month .
He added that they were actively investigating the projected Atlantic air mail to connect’ with the air mail systems of North America.
