When the discussion wag resumed in the Dail on the three Bills amending the constitution. Deputy O’Neill asked if the King was now finally and irrevocably dead constitutionally. Air. Do Valera did not reply. Air. McDermott asked if the Bids would affect Iho Lough Erne fishery case going to th e Privy Council.
Mr. Do Valera said the result would he nullified if it conflicted with the decision of the Irish Supreme Court. The Dail passed the third. .reading of the Bills which will go to the Senate which is entitled to Hold them up for 18 months.
Professor O'Suflivnn. protesting on iho motion to adjourn till November 15, said it was necessary to watch the Do Valera Government, which was armed with immense Powers under the Public Safety Act and applied them irresponsibly and tyrannically.
Mr. Do Valera, summing up, criticised both the I.R.A. and the Blue •Shirts. The- position, he said, was difficult and dangerous, and the Government would not loosen control

The municipal elections were postponed ffom November to July, the opposition twitting the Government that it feared the defeat of its supporters .
