Brightened up to the cadence of rippling Gershwin melodies, a merry mclango of comedy opened at the Regent on Saturday, in the form of the all-star musical comedy, ~ “Girl Crazy.” The film, which marks the rebirth of film comedies made under the new ideal sound reproducing conditions, • presents -one of tho finest-all-star comedy casts of the screen- in a -screen rendition of the. famous Broadway extravaganza of the same name. Heading the imposing array of talent are the (inimitable Bert Wheeler, and Robert AYoolsey.v who start- the film as city slickers and wind up as rough and ready western-, brs.
