May 22 The -third trial of Mrs. Elpwth Ivcrr, 40, a nurse, on charges ol administering poison with inLtit i injure, opened to-day before MrJustice T-Terdman. Air. V 1L Meredith, the Grown Prosecutor. and Mr. McCarthy, condueted the prosecution, and the accused was defended by Mr. R- ASinger and Mr. Mock. Twenty-nine names were drawn before a jury was empanellec.'. Mr. Meredith outlined the ease, and evidence is now being given on lines- similar to Pie pwviou at both of which the jury disagreed. .Evidence was heard on linos similar to that given in. earlier trials.
