POVERTY BAY REFEREES
ASSOCIATION
Realising that hockey in Poverty Bav Is steadily increasing in popularity. a meeting wa s held on Thursday - veiling to discuss the formation of a local Referees’ Association. Mr. J. Henderson presided over a fair gathering of supporters. An encouraging aspect of the nice--iug was the enthusiasm displayed h> young, players, who were keenly interested in the 'movement. It was unanimously resolved that a local branch be formed, and that it affiliate with the N.Z. Referees’ Association.
A further meeting of tho Association will be held this evening, all inforested being invited to attend.
