Tho annual meeting of tTUT Now Zon land Hockey Referees’ Association last night agreed to co-operato with Iho Australian Association with a view to securing a uniform interpretation of the rules, the interpretation to he based on Major Rickets s annuel report. The,intcrprCta Lions' committee’s report on new rules was received, and copies will ho forwaic.od to associations.
In connection with practical examinations six examiners were appointed, and it is proposed to add to the nuinbor in order to deal with the 87 referees who have passed Mo thcoTotieal. and are awaiting the practical tost. During the year, the report statec: IS referees ■wove examined for practical work, four being successful; oS sat for theory, and 38 passed.'
