In the British women's golf championships final at * \Glcneagles, Miss Enidl Wilson defeated Miss Diana (Plumpton, five and four.
Miss Wilson thus achieved her-am-bition by completing the bat. trick, her success in securing the title three times in succession being unequalled since Lady Margaret Scott’s record in 1893, 1894, and 1895. Tire -22-year-old Miss Plumpton, an Essex county player, reached the final for the first time. She beat-, en route, Miss Wanda Morgan and Miss Diana djishwick. She is a game and plucky fighter, but Miss Wilson’s powerful driving with the long irons was too good for her.
