Eastern Tasman Sea: —Strong west to southwest winds in the southern portion, with .rough seas, moderate and variable in the northern portion. but southerlies prevailing with moderate seas. Weather. —Fair to line generally; ■sonic showers likely in the far south ano .south ; cold night temperatures with many frosts.
