The refusal of the Railway Department to pay increased prices for coal from the Collie mines threatens to produce au industrial crisis.. Labour organisations support contracts being given to Collie, but the Minister contends that the prices asked are unwarranted.
Aleanwhile, large quantities of New castle coal have arrived, or are a float. .
