.Maunrly Gregory, editor of the 'Whitehall Gazette, charged with an offence against the Honors Prevention of Abuses Act. withdrew his plea of not guilty, and wash sentenced to two months’, gaol, fined £SO, and ordered ,t,o pay £52 10s costs. . Mr. Norman Rirkett, . K.C., urged leniency, in view of the.case being the first of its kind. Gregory would notrepeat the offence.
