Wales, speaking at a Mansion House dinner, in connection with the British Industries Fair, paid a compliment to the progress of the engineering and .heavy industries sections, and the :i'inortance of the new textile and Lirniture sections. Be emphasised the exemplary value of team-work of exhibitors and organisers, and urged the full organisation of every industry in readiness for changing world conditions in order to profit by the opportunities offered by the Ottawa settlements. “Now.’’ he said “there is orowino- confdence. because no indi-
