MAJESTIC THEATRE

“AMBASSADOR BUJ

Will .Rogers, the -unofficial American diplomat, is a very lovable character in “'.Ambassador BilL” now showing at the Majestic. He has a wit and humour aIL his own, for as United States Ambassador to Svlvania, liis conduct in the court simply pulverises the rest of the officials, who are accustomed to the strict observance of court etiquette. Tim queen and her husband become es. tranged, and the son becomes the boy king. Will llogcrs takes the youthful king under his wing, and introduces him to delights that are not usual among young royalty.- Marguerite Churchill is in the role of the queen, and gives if all the dignity due to it. There aro-'Somo delightful humorous situations, a four hours’ revolution, and a. reconciliation. The manner in which ‘‘Ambassador Bill” upsots all the conventions and officials, too, provides the liveliest comedy. Action and thrills are provided by Tim McCoy .in “The Texas Cyclone", one of the now great 1933 series of western dramas. It is of a- very high standard and .is packed with adventure and movement from beginning to end. There are some excellent supporting short subjects.
