(C.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Jan. 23, 8.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 23. The City Coroner returned a verdict of accidental death, in the case of Frederick Johnson, who died as the result of a boxing bout at Leichardt Stadium on January 11.
A hard fight at Leichardt- Stadium on the night of January 11 saw Frederick Johnson, of Alexandria, knocked out 'in the eighth round of a 10round'boot by Harry Lister, who wore the fern of Xew Zealand. Both men suffered heavy punishment. Johnson apparently had his skull fractured and died in hospital.
