Mrs. Caroline Ellen Bjrtiett or W/yatt, better known as Carrie Moore, the original "Merry 'Widow’ and a former favourite of the Australian stage, before the Registrar in Divorce, in Sydney recently, ask ed for alimony at tile rate of £25 a week until the hearing of her suit for judicidl separation from lifer husband, Vernon Bartlett, Better known as Jack Wyatt, importer arid manufacturer. TB© registrar granted alimony at the rate of £l2 a. week and ordered arrears to he paid .in weekly instalments of £5. Mrs. Bartlett-, in. an affidavit, 1 said. she had been accustomed ti spend £SOO a year as a dress allowance.
