Rais and mice during the holidays overran the offices of the New Ljnu Borough Council arid chewed up portions of the borough’s documentary records. A viidst of 50 baby' mice was discovered ,in a corner of one of the rooms. Learning of the incident, a little girl in. the locality has presented tho borough with a malo find a' female cat, and sho. accompanied the gift With, a request that they bo named respectively after, the -Mayor and Mayoress.. “George” and '‘‘Morton’’.: aro now engaged- in the extermination business.
