The •‘Nottingham Guardian.” referring to the departure for England from N.Z. of Mr. R. C. Blunt, states that Sir Julien Calm’s cricket team, for which Air. Blunt- is to play, will next year tour Canada, the United States and Bermuda.
A weddnig of widespread interest in t-lie Dominion was celebrated on Christmas Eve, when Miss Aldyfh Cochrane, second daughter of Air and Airs David Cochrane, of Invercargill, was married to Air Frank David Thomson, C.AI.G., permanent head pi the Prime Alinister’s Department and private secretary to every Prime Minister since Seddon. The wedamg took place at St. Luke\s Church, Wadestown, the Rev. Air AshleyJones performing the service. T lie brido wore a brown floral ensemble and hat to tone. The honeymoon has been spent in Auckland.
