The Gisborne Swimming Club will commence their life-saving activities to-morrow morning at 10 a.m. on the Wafkanao beach when a large number of members interested in this branch have signified their intention of being present. Any members desirous nf participating are advised to bo present. Is is proposed to form teams immediately.
On Tuesday evening, at fhc Macrae. Baths, the club will hold -its usual club night, the main attraction being a water-polo game, to allow the club selectors to watch the form of players, in order to make their choice for the team to visit Hastings in n fortnight io compote against JTeretaunga Club in deience of the Ferguson Cup. Numerous members are anxious fo gain a place and it U expected that a good game should result.
