AT the request of a number of Citizens the Council have deckled to endeavour to collect a sum sufficient to reinstate tlie POST OFFICE CLOCK with Earthquakeproof construction tower at an estimated cost of £9OO. REGISTRATION OF DOGS. jVTOT.ICE is heerby given that the Council has appointed Mr. Francis Gribben as Registrar of Dogs for the Borough of Gisborne for the year 1933, and the Conned Chambers, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, as tjie Registration Office. The said Mr. Gribben is duly authorised to destroy any dog found without a collar having the proper current year’s registration label thereon. Registration foes are as follows: 2/6 each for the first three dogs; and 10/- each for every other dog over that number owned by the one Shepherd, Drover, or Farmer, .AN 10/- eac]i for every other description of dog.
