Christoff Trngonoff, who killed tbo Macedonian editor, Evtimoff, in a street fight on December 28, was lying in hospital suffering from wounds received in-the fight. La'sfc evening when Nurse Catherine Constantince, aged 26, was attending the eighteen patients in. the ward, she stopped to the bedside of Tragonqc, arranged his pillows, drew a revolver and killed him with a bullet in the brain and two in the heart:
When arrested, she said that as a good Macedonian, she could not refuse to obey orders, when given a revolver and told to kill Tragonoo in revongo for his murder of a patriot. • <
