Rudhlada Outrage, in which 16 Moslems were hilled and 2-1- injured, disclose that the trouble aros e through the Hindus’ resentment of the Moslems stealing and killing a sacred cow.’ The following day three Sikhs, armed with rifles, ran amok in the village, firing at every Moslem, including beggars, and killing seven and wounding nine, including two men. They then rushed to a nearby village and murdered eight, including five men in one family, and injuring 15. It is recalled that a year ago a Hindu murdered 11 Moslems in a village of the same district as a sequel to the killing of a cow.
