GISBORNE BOARD MEETING. The monthly meeting; of the Gisborne . Land • Board was held yesterday, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr. IF. L. Primrose, presiding over the following: Messrs R. H. Wicksteed, J. H. Re id and G* ORonovan. Dates for meetings.-in 1933, as sug. gosted by the Commissioner' were approved as follows: January 13. February 10. March 10, April 7, May I*2, June 9. July 11, August U. September 15. October 13. November 10, and December 1. The following business was dealt with:— Application for land.—Mr. C. 11 Fleming applied for a right to occupy a k nut 11 area of Crown laud ’uu the foreshore opposite blocks 111 and IV. Matakaoa. s.d.. 746 a.: ft was resolved that as the area was unsuitable for settlement it should be retained as a bush reserve. Robertson, was appointed to make the necessary report and valuations. V'aioeka s.d.: It wag resolved to cancel the previous offers of grazing rights and to offer the applicant a right t 0 occupy at a rental of £6 per annum, subject to one month’s notice. Application for land.-—Section 3, block XV., Taraniaraiua s.<l., 1496 a 2r 34p, on renewable lease, Alan Lewis McKinnon: Granted.
