The committee of jurists appointed by the Budget Committee -ruled that the,League had no legal right to reduc4 officials’ salaries. Thus the British proposal for a< 10 per cent, reduction applies only to future contracts, but five of tjie largest are shortly due for renewal. . Budget Committee passed the League’s Budget, which is £4OOO smaller. r • -
