The first match of the season was played at Tokomaru Bay at till weekjend. N. Cottle took two fine catches and Ifollever one. and J. Conolc one. J. Oates allowed no byes in either innings. Moody's off included o sixes. When Tuparou "hatted again. F. Wickens took two wickets for 1, and should have had a hat trick, but the fieldsman dropped a catch off the third ball.
