Portuguese section of Timor, naval expert's say that with Timor, plus the Carolines, Japan could straddle Australia, eventually offsetting the value of Singapore. The Jupanse Ambassador stated:— “Wo are quite uninformed of any such intention.” The Dutch Embassy also is uninformed.
