“ANNABELLK’S AFFAIRS.”

Although looking (Voak and dismal, “Amiabcilo’s Affairs” will bo straightened out with delightful and pleasing results at the Regent tonight. The production. i s an adaptation of Clare Kummer’s stage success, “Good Gracious, Annelid le," and is characterised by superb acting, with Jeanette MacDonald and Victor AtoLaglcn in the leading roles. It is a story of a gay, irresponsible society leader of the younger set who, in an adventure on a ranch, 'meets a characteristic cave man under dramatic- circumstances and marries him. They live together in a log cabin for -a- few hours. She only remembers her husband by his “wil’d and woolly heard” and his never-to-be-forgotten first kiss. Ho disappears from her J-il’e, and she continues to live her bright but aimless .-existence in tlm smart set in New York. Always desperately short : of money, she wander s into many highlydiverting situations, and at, last -selis for a few dollars to a strange man 50 shares in a AAdstern gold mine. In due.course her husband reappears, and the couple meet in novel circumstances, the story being developed in a most- attractive and unusual way.
